Alicia Lyford is currently an assistant account executive for the corporate practice at Edelman Portland. In her current role, she supports communications for the Oregon Department of Transportation’s OTIA III State Bridge Delivery Program, including media relations across trade and local outlets, monthly reporting and awards planning.

In addition, Lyford manages weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics and metrics reporting and develops content for the monthly e-newsletter to help execute the strategic global communications program for CLIMAX Portable Machining & Welding Systems, a pioneer in on-site repair and maintenance solutions.

For Banfield Pet Hospital, she creates programs and presentations that the internal communications team uses in its employee engagement programming.

Prior to her current role, Lyford was an intern on the corporate and public affairs team at Edelman Seattle, where she provided ongoing support for more than 10 accounts. As an intern for Vox Public Relations Public Affairs, she produced content for both client and agency social channels, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Lyford received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations with business administration and communication studies minors from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communications.
